Privacy Policy

WatchSync ("we", "the app") helps friends watch videos together in sync. We do not require an account to use the service.

YouTube API Services

When you choose to watch a YouTube video in a room, the app uses YouTube API Services. Google's Privacy Policy explains how Google handles data for those services.

Local files

In local-file mode, video files stay on your device. We do not upload, download, or cache your video content on our servers.

Analytics

We may use privacy-conscious analytics (e.g. page views, errors) to keep the service running. No payment is required to watch YouTube videos in a room.
